Between 2003 and 2016, I completed fifteen books, including twelve novels, two novellas, and one instructional filmmaking book. Except for my novella Scaremonger, which I self-published as an e-book experiment, all of these were professionally published. I received several good reviews from mainstream sites like Publishers Weekly and Booklist in addition to the horror press, and won a few literary awards.
When Medallion Press folded, most of my fiction went out of print. Re-releasing these titles as e-books is on my “to do” list, but I do have signed hard copies of the following titles available for sale to U.S. readers. All titles are fresh out of a case and signed before shipping (personalization upon request).
I consider six-book occult detective series "The Jake Helman Files" my greatest creative achievement, and the reason I started writing novels in the first place. Once Medallion discontinued it I lost interest in writing prose and doubled down on my first love, filmmaking. There is still one Jake Helman story to be told (planned all along) and maybe I'll get to it some day.

My instructional filmmaking book, Cheap Scares: Low Budget Horror Filmmakers Share Their Secrets, is still available from McFarland & Company, Amazon, etc. I also contributed essays to the books Buthcer Knives & Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights and Fun of the Slasher Film and The Battle Royale Slam Book: Essays on the Cult Classic.
Carnage Road is my post apocalyptic zombie novella, published to acclaim by the defunct publisher Print is Dead. I'll offer it as an e-book again eventually - like all of my out of print Medallion Press novels. Craig Sheffer optioned is a movie/TV series and we spent several year trying to get it ouff the ground. It will make a hell of a movie, franchise, or TV series, and it will fall to me to make it happen.
Like many of my novels, Scaremonger - my second novella - began life as a screenplay. I wanted to create a female franchise character, a counter Jake Helman. The story is set in Liy Dale, the First Spiritua Assembly in the country, 15 minutes from where I grew up. This novella was an experiment, in that it's the only book I self-published on Amazon Kindle. Now it makes sense to do that, but I hate Amazon for the way it treats indie horror filmmakers, so I've been reluctant to upload any of my work..
I contributed an essay to this out of print academic/critical collection.
